MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />October 1, 2002 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico at 7:05 <br />p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Campbell led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. He expressed his <br />appreciation for the service of those leaving the various commissions and to those newly <br />appointed commissioners and committee members. This would not be such a great city without <br />the valuable support and dedication of its citizens. He announced the downtown Antique Faire <br />that will occur on October 13, 2002. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti and Mayor Tom <br />Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Stewart Gary, Fire <br />Chief; and James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />3.
