CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> The City Council met in closed session to confer with legal counsel regarding <br />potential litigation concerning groundwater rights and related issues. No action was <br />reported out. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico <br />at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Matt Campbell led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. He <br />announced that the Foothill High School Civics Team would be competing in the state <br />championship in Sacramento on February 8, 2001 and wished them luck. He <br />congratulated members of the Fifth Grade on their graduation from the DARE Program. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell <br />Michelotti and Mayor Tom Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta <br />McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Nelson Fialho, Deputy City <br />Manager; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; Scott Baker, Assistant Director of <br />Public Works/Operations; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Captain Mike Frasier, Police Department; and James W. Wolfe, Director <br />of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />3.
