CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tan'er at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Ayala led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She <br />reminded eve~'one of the First Wednesday event in Downtown Pleasanton and <br />encouraged everyone to attend. <br /> <br />2. ROLLCALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll. which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Denms. Thomas P. Pico. Jr., and Mayor <br />Ben Tarvet. Staff members present were Deborah Acosta. City Manager; Steven Bocian. <br />Assistant City Manager; Michael Roush. City Anomey: Brian W. Swift. Director of <br />Planning and Community Development: Randall A. Lure. Director of Public Works: Bill <br />van Gekier. Traffic Engineer; and Susan Rossi. Director of Finance. <br /> <br />Councilmember Shagell Micheloni was abser, t and excused. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 6b. AP-99-08/Case Z-99-135. Michael and Sharleen Laver application. was <br />continued to the meeting of November 2, 1999. <br /> <br /> Item 4g. proposed increase of speed limit on Hopyard Road. was removed from <br />the Consent Calendar to be discussed after Item 6a. <br /> <br /> Item 4p. PUD-89-14-1D-3M.
