473, <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> January 26, 1970 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FIAG <br /> Mayor Bernard Getton called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br /> at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> City Clerk Helen HcCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmen Betaills, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton were present. <br /> Mr. Fales, City Manager, Hr. Edgar, Assistant City Hanager, Mr. Hirst, City <br /> Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, were present. Mr. Castro, <br /> Director of Planning, was absent. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> There were uo amendmeuts to the ageuda. <br /> <br /> CONSEfff CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Rega that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-14, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract <br /> No. 3048, Arroyo Del Prado, Unit No. 3. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-15, authorizing a payment in the amount of <br /> $3,363.04 be made to Deetz Construction Company for fill replacement at the <br /> Amador Valley Community Park. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />--. Long regarding ~ondemnation of <br /> street segment in Tract No. 2892 <br /> <br /> Mr. Fales reported that these matters were continued from December 15, 1969, at <br /> the request of the proponents, in order to allow the developer sufficient time to <br /> make the necessary financial arrangement for this project. <br /> Mr. Fales read a letter from Dr. H. F. Long, dated January 18, 1970, which <br /> stated that because of the cost and difficulty of financing, this project will have <br /> to wait indefinitely. <br /> Mr. Fales indicated that it would be in order to dismiss these matters from <br /> the agenda. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Reid that the above <br /> matters relating to the development of the Longview Subdivision, Tract 2892, be <br />.... dismissed from the agenda. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Bernills, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABS~"lqT: None <br /> <br /> MATTE~ CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> Waiuc r~ading; Ord~ No. 58~, amending Ord.
