MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY CQ.UNCIL Pleasanton, California April 12, 1971 CALL TO ORDER- PLEDGE TO FLAG ~4ayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Gerton, Pearson and Mayor Reid were present. Councilmen Beratlis and Spiliotopoulos were absent. Mr. Aiello, Acting Director of Planning, was absent. AGENDA A~NDMENTS ~,Ir~ itirst explained some minor changes in the Black Avenue Improvements, item "c" on the Consent Calendar, which he requested be added to this i tern ~I J.4r. Fales requested that a report on the demolition of two structures on the Amador Valley 'Community Park site, be added under Special~'R, eports CONSENT C~J~ENDAR It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Pearson that the followsing items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: City Council Minutes of the meetings of March 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th, 1971. b. Adoption of Resolution No.. 71-77, approving a Change Order in the amount of $2,475.00, for additional improvements along Black Avenue west of Santa Rita Road. c. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 626, Personnel Ordinance. d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 626. Fales explained the subject agreement. There being no comments from the public, it was moved by. Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Pearson that the public hearing be closed.
