~4INUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COL~CIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> February 1, 1971 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER --PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> <br />Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance <br />to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk ttelen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as <br />follows: Councilmen Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />were present. Councilman Beratlis was absent. Mr. Fales, City <br />Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, <br />Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Aiello, Acting <br />Director of Planning, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AI~IEND~'~iENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Fales stated that he had received a request from Besco Homes to <br />postpone Item 8-a on the agenda, which was in regards to the review- <br />ing of the Park Dedication Requirements relating to Tentative Sub- <br />division Iiap, Tract No. 3232, Until the next regular meeting. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman <br />Pearson that the followsimg items listed on the Consent Calendar, <br />be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-17, approving the New Prevailing <br /> Wage Rate Schedule for Construction Labor. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption Of Resolution Noo 71-18, authorizin~ Prograss Pay- <br /> ment No. 1, in the amount of $14,032.62, to Economy Garden <br /> Supply, for work completed on the Muinqood Park Project. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-19, granting a one-year time <br /> extension for Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract No. 2980, <br /> Vintage ttills, Unit No. 6. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilm~n Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Beratlis <br /> <br />PUBLIC tlEARINGS <br /> <br />Application of Russell G.
