MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> June 26, 1972 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Mori called the Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 7:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Pearson "and Mayor Pro Tempore Mori, were <br />present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, <br />Director of Public Works, Mr. Castro, Director of Community Development, <br />were present, <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Councilman Pearson requested that item "a" on the Consent Calendar and <br />an item Under Matters Continued for decision, be discussed at this time. <br /> <br />Councilman Pearson stated that he felt that the Planning Commission <br />should be instructed to defer the approval of all Tentative Maps and <br />the refiling of them as well as deferring the approval on all Final <br />Maps until the Park Dedication Ordinance has been acted upon, or at <br />least condition these maps, if possible. <br /> <br />Considerable discussion ensued after Mr. Hirst explained the provisions <br />of the Subdivision Map Act. <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar requested that an Executive Session be held at the end of <br />the meeting to discuss some pending litigation. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Herlihy and seconded by Councilman Kinney <br />that the following item listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval by Planning Commission of Tentative Tract 3102, <br /> Oakhill, Refile. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Pearson and Mayor Pro Tempore Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Reid <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Appeal of Cummings and Company from an adverse decision of the Plan~ng <br />Commission. in denyin~ aFranklln Savin~ and Loan Tir~e and Temperature <br />Sign. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Mori declared the public hearing and asked for a <br />staff report. <br /> <br /> <br />
