MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 2, 1973 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br />8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Edgar, <br />City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and <br />Mr. Harris, Senior Planner, were present. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Nerlihy, that the <br />following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes of March 26, 1973. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 73-53, accepting Right-of-Way Deed from Exxon <br /> Corp., for widening of Santa Rite Road at Western Pacific Railroad Tracks. <br /> <br /> c.Adoption of Resolution No. 73-54, accepting Grant Deed from Morrison Homes <br /> for sidewalk encroachment. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 73-55, approving lease extension on Sewage Treat- <br /> ment Irrigation Fields. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> There were no public hearings scheduled for this meeting. <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision. presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> City Council Determination,.. Re: Environmental Impact Statements on various Planning <br /> Commission referrals <br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report on four reports regarding City Council <br /> determination on Environmental Impact Statements. The Council made the following <br /> determinations: <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that with <br /> regard to Zone Change from A (Agricultural) to R-l-40 (one unit per 40,000 sq. ft.) <br /> Floyd Naugle, T. R. Pritchett, and T. A. Lows property on Foothill Road, an En- <br /> vironmental Impact Statement would be required. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved bF Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br /> Environmental Impact Statements be waived on the following three projects: <br /> <br /> 1.
