259 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 27, 1975 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF THE STAFF REPORT~..~E: COMMITMENTS RELATED TO THE PROVISION OF <br />SEWAGE TREATMENT <br /> The City Council met at 7:00 P.M., to review the staff report regarding <br />commitments related to the provision of sewage treatment. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell presented the preliminary rough draft report entitled Volume <br />Five, Study of City Sewer Service Area, Supplement of January, 1975, to the <br />City of Pleasanton, Water Quality Control Project Report, November 1, 1974, <br />prepared by the City of Pleasanton with technical assistance of Kennedy <br />Engineers, Inc., dated December 27,1974. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding this report. This matter was for <br />the information of the Council, therefore, no action was required. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Floyd Mori called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor <br />Mori were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. <br />Campbell, Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Bowling, Director <br />of Housing and Community Development, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, <br />Director of Engineering Services, and Mr. Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, <br />were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Edgar requested the following agenda amendments: <br /> <br />1. Continue item 5c - The City Council will hold public hearings to elicit <br /> citizen input on how the funds allocated to the City of Pleasanton under <br /> the Housing ~nd Community Development Act of 1974 should be expended, to <br /> the meeting of February 10, 1975. <br /> <br />2. Continue item 5e - Application of the Planning Commission from Pleasanton <br /> Garbage Service to prezone approx. 23 ac. of land located at 2512 Vineyard <br /> Ave. from A (Agricultural as defined by the Zoning Code of the County of <br /> Alameda) District to A (Agricultural as defined by the Ordinance Code of <br /> the City of Pleasanton) District, to the meeting of February 10, 1975. <br /> <br />3. Add as item 10c - Resolution amending Section II (Housing and Community <br /> Development), Subsection A (Building Inspection Division) of Resolution <br /> No. 74-138 (a resolution establishing fees and charges for various <br /> municipal services in the City of Pleasanton and repealing Resolution <br /> No. 75-11, establishing fees for geologic reports). <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved; and the agenda <br />as amended: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City CounCil Minutes for January 13, 1975, and January 20, 1975. <br /> <br />b.Adoption of Resolution No. 75-12, approving Agreement between the County <br /> and City, Re: Fire Protection Services. <br /> <br /> <br />
