MI~FGTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL January 3, 1977 CALL TO ORD.EP~ - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Philcox called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris iGeorge called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidtg, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, and Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, were present. AGENDA AME~IDMENTS Mr. Edgar requested. that an item be added as lla - Request from Police~Officer Yates, Re: Legal Assistance in Lopez Suit. Councilmember LeClaire requested that the Minutes of December 6, 1976, be amended on page 6, second paragraph, last two lines to read..."calls made to City Hall or other Councilmembers and long distance calls related to City business such as calls to Sacramento and Washington, be adopted". CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approve, as amended: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for December 6, 1976, as amended, and December 13, 1976. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Counc jimembers Brandes, Herl ihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox NOES: None AP. SENT: None Councilmember LeClaire abstained on approval of City Council Minutes for December 13, 1976, due to her absence from that meeting, MEETING OPKM TO THE PUBLIC No one in the audience addressed the Chair.
