Consideration of Written Prote.sts Regarding Annexation No. 71, Uninhabited PrOperty on Old Santa Rita Road Mr. Edgar presented the report of the City Attorney dated December 28, 1976, regarding this matter, and indicated that no written protests to this annexation had been received. Councilmember Herlihy requested that a more detailed description of annexations be given in the staff reports so the properties in question will be easily identified. Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. I{o one spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. ~yor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, that Resolution No. 77-1, declaring No Majority Protest to the annexation of certain un- inhabited territor~e~ "Pleasanton Annexation No. 71" to the City of Pleasanton, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Ph{lcox NOES: None ABSENT: None It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Ordinance No. 803, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving the annexation known as Annexation No. 71, be introduced.
