MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> TtIE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> March 28, 1978 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> }~ayor Kenneth }lercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. Brown, <br />City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development, and ~!~r. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, were <br />present. <br /> <br />AGE~A ~{ENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Brown requested that item 4d - Approval of Final Map and Improvement <br />Plans for Tract 3889, Mission Park Unit No. 6, Beratlis-Byrd Enterprises, Inc., <br />be removed from the agenda. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brox.~ requested an item be added as Item 41 - Request of Pleasanton <br />Community Band to hang Banner on Main Street Sign March 29-April 3, 1978. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested that item 4j - Pleasanton Girls' Soccer <br />Association Request for Permission that Donation Fee be Charged for Soccer <br />Tournament, be moved to item 7a for discussion. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brown stated there would be an Executive Session to discuss pending <br />litigation. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar together with amendments <br />be approved. <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 3-13-78, 3-14-78, and 3-21-78. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-59 approving claims for the month of <br /> February. 1978, in the amount of $332,841.49. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Resolution No. 78'-60, approving renewal of Holding Tank for <br /> New Life Fellowship Church, 3200 Hopyard Road, for one year to March 22, <br /> 1979. <br /> <br /> By motion Council indicated their intention to review the required frequency <br /> of pumping of holding tanks generating relatively small volumes of sewage <br /> per month at the earliest possible time with the intent of asking the franchise <br /> to concur in a change of the minimum volume permitted in a single monthly <br /> pumping. <br /> <br /> <br />
