MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> February 13, 1979 <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer announced that today is Boy Scouts of America Government Day in <br />our City, and that his counterpart Peter Jorgensen would conduct the early part <br />of the meeting. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Boy Scout Peter Jorgensen called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer'were present. <br />Mr. Brown, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development, and Mr. ~ralker, Assistant to the City ~nager, were present. <br /> <br /> Also present were Bob Barton and Paul Holley, representing DeLeuw Cather and <br />Company. <br /> <br /> Peter Jorgensen introduced the Boy Scouts participating in Government Day as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Peter Jorgensen, counterpart of Mayor Mercer <br /> Joseph Leporafi, counterpart of Vice ~yor Brandes <br /> Peter Zischka, counterpart of Councilman Butler <br /> ~rk Divoky, counterpart of Councilman Kephart <br /> Nelson Pagaduan, counterpart of Councilman Wood <br /> Hugh Connors, counterpart of City Manager Brown <br /> Tom Unger, counterpart of Director of Public Works Campbell <br /> Chris Cromwell, counterpart of City Attorney Levine <br /> Robert Chapman, counterpart of Police Chief McCloud <br /> Andy Zavanelli, counterpart of Fire Chief Hill <br /> Kevin Hogan, counterpart of Chief Building Inspector Cullum <br /> Steven Anderson, counterpart of Police Detective <br /> <br />AGED~,A ~ME~MENTS <br /> Boy Scout Hugh Conners, counterpart of City Manager Brown, requested the <br />fo!!o~!ng amendments be made to the agenda: <br /> <br /> Remove item 4h - Recommended Position Reclassifications, from the agenda. <br /> <br /> Conuinue item 8c - Application of the City Council for an amendment to <br /> Section 2-7.08(a) of Article 8, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton which would revise comprehensively <br /> the schedule of permi(ted and conditional uses in all of the com- <br /> mercially zoned districts except the CR(M) and CR(P) Districts of <br /> the City of Pleasanton (Continued Open from 11-14-78, 12-5-78, <br /> 1-9-79 and 1-23-79), to the meeting of February 27, 1979. <br /> <br /> <br />
