MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> June 10, 1980 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning <br /> and Community Development, and Mr. Schaumburg, Director of Engineering Services, <br /> were present. <br /> <br /> AGE~DAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following amendments be made to the agenda: <br /> <br /> Add item 4j - Approval for filing an application with the Metropolitan Trans- <br /> portation Commission for Reimbursement of Allocated Funds. <br /> <br /> Continue item 8a - Appeal of a decision of the Planning Commission denying the <br /> application of Mildred R. Vallarino to rezone the 4.4 acre <br /> site located at 3897, 3887, 3889 Vineyard Avenue from the <br /> RM-4000 (Residential 10 units per acre) District to the <br /> RM-1500 (Residential 29 units per acre) District, and <br /> accompanying Negative Declaration, to the meeting of 8-12-80. <br /> <br /> Remove item 12d - Emergency Ambulance Service - Contract with Alameda County, <br /> from the agenda. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session at the conclusion of <br /> this meeting to discuss litigation. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for May 27, 1980. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim June 14, 1980, as Flag Day. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 934, approving the application of Amador Valley Investors <br /> to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development) District and development plan approval for a l13-1ot, <br /> single-family residential subdivision proposed to be built on an approximately <br /> 27 acre parcel located just east of the existing terminus of West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard, north of the Arroyo Mocho, subject to conditions, and amending the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly. <br /> <br /> <br />
