MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL June 10, 1980 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, and Mr. Schaumburg, Director of Engineering Services, were present. AGE~DAAMENDMENTS Mr. Walker requested that the following amendments be made to the agenda: Add item 4j - Approval for filing an application with the Metropolitan Trans- portation Commission for Reimbursement of Allocated Funds. Continue item 8a - Appeal of a decision of the Planning Commission denying the application of Mildred R. Vallarino to rezone the 4.4 acre site located at 3897, 3887, 3889 Vineyard Avenue from the RM-4000 (Residential 10 units per acre) District to the RM-1500 (Residential 29 units per acre) District, and accompanying Negative Declaration, to the meeting of 8-12-80. Remove item 12d - Emergency Ambulance Service - Contract with Alameda County, from the agenda. Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session at the conclusion of this meeting to discuss litigation. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for May 27, 1980. b. Proclaim June 14, 1980, as Flag Day. c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 934, approving the application of Amador Valley Investors to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and development plan approval for a l13-1ot, single-family residential subdivision proposed to be built on an approximately 27 acre parcel located just east of the existing terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard, north of the Arroyo Mocho, subject to conditions, and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly.
