i.ql <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 22, 1980 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br />8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer were present. Councilmembers Kep- <br />hart and Wood were absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, <br />Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Cull, m, Chief Build- <br />ing Inspector, Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, Mr. Klenk, Fire Prevention Officer, and Mr. <br />Schaumburg, Director of Engineering Services, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> M~'i"Wa~ker '~equested that the following amendments be made to the agenda: <br /> <br />Add item 4p - Proclaim May 11-17, 1980, as Small Business Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Add item 4q - Proclaim April 28-May 4, 1980, as Rowell Ranch Rodeo Week. <br /> <br />Continue item 8d - Application of Amador Valley Investors to fezone from the R-1-6500 <br /> (Single-Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) District and development plan approval for a 34-1ot, <br /> single-family residential subdivision, and accompanying Negative <br /> Declaration, to the meeting of May 13, 1980. <br /> <br />Dismiss item 12b - Implementation of Tennis Court Monitor Program, from the agenda. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler requested that item 40 - Authorization to Call for Bids to <br />move House at 391 St. Mary Street, be removed from the Consent Calendar and moved to <br />item 12h on the agenda for discussion. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested the following amendments be made to the agenda: <br /> <br />Continue item 13a - Parking Regulations on Johnson Drive (Contd. from 3-25-80, due <br /> to split vote), to the meeting of May 13, 1980, for full Council <br /> attendance. <br /> <br />Continue item 13d - Report on CondomtniumConversions, to the meeting of May 13, 1980, <br /> for full Council attendance. <br /> <br />Combine item 13b - Report and Draft Ordinance on Commercial Subdivisions not yet <br /> constructed, with item 9b - Adoption of Ordinance 931, relating <br /> to the same subject. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr requested that item 4i - Resolution Ordering the Annexation <br />of Annexation No. 77 (Pestana), be continued to the meeting of May 13, 1980, for full <br />Council attendance and discussion. She stated she felt it was inappropriate at this <br />time to annex more acreage strictly for housing. <br /> <br /> <br />
