<br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG
<br /> Mayor Frank Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to
<br />order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes were present. Council-
<br />member Kephart was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney,
<br />Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of
<br />Planning and Community Development, were present.

<br />AGEErDA AMENDMENTS
<br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following amendments be made to the agenda:
<br />
<br />Add item 13e - Motion to Compel Compliance with 1972 Settlement Agreement.
<br />
<br />Add item 13f - LAVWMA Pipeline Extension Agreement.
<br />
<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that
<br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved:
<br />
<br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 3-11-80.
<br />
<br />b. Accept by motion, the Audit of Revenue Sharing Funds for Fiscal Year 1978-79.
<br />
<br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-64, approving Plans and Specifications for the
<br /> installation of Thermoplastic and Raised Markings on various City Streets,
<br /> Project No. 80-1.
<br />
<br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-65, approving Plans and Specifications and Auth-
<br /> orization to Call for Bids for Central Business District Sewer Replacement,
<br /> Phase I, Project No. 79-16.
<br />
<br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-66, accepting Project No. 79-13, Handicap Ramp
<br /> for the Veterans Memorial Building, approving final payment to AMBO Concrete,
<br /> Inc., in the amount of $5,400.00, and authorizing filing the Notice of Com-
<br /> pletion.
<br />
<br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-67, declaring that weeds, rubbish or refuse upon
<br /> or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton con-
<br /> stitute public nuisances and that the same shall be abated, and setting a public
<br /> hearing in regard to the same to be held in the Pleasanton Council Chambers,
<br /> Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, at 8:00 P.M., on April 22, 1980.
<br />
<br /> g. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-68, setting April 22, 1980, at the Council Chambers
<br /> in the Alameda County Fairgrounds Cafeteria, at 8:00 P.M., as the time and place
<br /> to consider the adoption of the 1979 Uniform Building, Plumbing, Housing, Fire,
<br /> Electrical and Mechanical Codes.
