367 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> May 26, 1981 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER- PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br />Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities, and Ms. Bengtson, Director of Recreation and Human Resources, <br />were present. <br /> <br />AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker advised that item 5a - Presentation by John Clatworthy, Pleasanton's <br />Representative to Alameda County Library Committee, would be continued to the meeting <br />of June 9, 1981, because Mr. Clatworthy is unable to be present at this meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of <br /> this meeting to discuss pending litigation and personnel. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for May 12, 1981. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 975, approving the application of Alfred Fromm for zon- <br /> ing and development plan approval for a 102 acre Planned Unit Development com- <br /> mercial/industrial business park on the northeast corner of Bernal Avenue and <br /> 1-680, south of the Arroyo Del Valle which forms the boundary between the Del <br /> Prado area of Pleasanton and the subject site, and amending the Zoning Map of <br /> the City of Pleasan~on accordingly. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 976, approving the application of the Planning Commis- <br /> sion of the City of Pleasanton to prezone the approximately 41 acre area located <br /> on the north side of Vineyard Avenue ~mmediately east of the Hacienda Mobile <br /> Home Park to PUD Medium Density Residential District, and amending the Zoning <br /> Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-151, approving Claims for the month of April, 1981, <br /> in the amount of $775,594.57. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-152, authorizing a progress payment on Project No. <br /> 81-6, improvements to Senior Citizens Center (Veterans Building), to R. L. <br /> Construction Company, dba R. L. Enterprises, 952 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda, <br /> in the amount of $16,197.30. <br /> <br /> <br />
