MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> October 27, 1981 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Butler, Kephart,~ Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br /> and Mrs. Bengtson, Director of Recreation and Human Resources, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. 'Walker requested that a portion of item 12b - Report on Request for Annexa- <br /> tion by Daggett, 1.9 acres on Sycamore Road, be dismissed from the agenda at the <br /> request of Mr. Daggett. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session at the conclusion of this <br /> meeting to discuss pending litigation and labor relations. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 10-13-81. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim the week of November 11, 1981, as Veterans' Week. <br /> <br /> c. Commendation to Wells Fargo Bank, Pleasanton Rotary Club, Pleasanton Jaycees, <br /> and Pleasanton Women's Club for providing the community of Pleasanton with a <br /> Conversation Pace Gamefield for use by Senior Citizens. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1004, approving the application of Breilh Homes, Inc., <br /> for Planned Unit Development (PUD-High Density Residential) zoning and development <br /> plan approval for a 32 unit townhouse condominium project to be located on their <br /> 2+ acre site on the south side of Palomino Drive between Pico Avenue and Concord <br /> Street. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-358, approving Claims for the month of September, <br /> 1981, in the amount of $710,860.52. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-359, approving appropriation of excess funds in <br /> Fiscal Year 1981 to the Contingency Reserve in the amount of $630,755.00. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-360, approving reappropriation of unexpended <br /> County Support Funds in the amount of $45,542.51, to the Peters Avenue Right- <br /> of-Way Project. <br /> <br />h. Adoption of Resolution No. 81-361, acceptance of construction of Sunol Boule- <br /> vard Bicycle Path, Project No. 81-7, approving final payment to Eugene G. Alves <br /> Construction Company, Inc., tn the amount of $14,577.52, and authorizing that <br /> Notice of Completion be filed. <br /> <br /> / <br /> <br /> <br />
