197 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br />-- THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 26, 1983 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. <br /> Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br /> were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that two items be added to the Consent Calendar as follows: <br /> <br /> item 4m - Solids Handling and Disposal Facilities and'Flow Equalization/Emergency <br /> Storage Facilities at Dublin San Ramon Services District Regional Waste <br /> Water Treatment Plant. <br /> <br /> item 4n - Declaring the Results of the April 19, 1983 Special Election. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 4-12-83. <br /> <br /> b. Proclaim May 1-7, 1983 as Variety Club Week in Pleasanton, <br /> <br /> c. Proclaim May 1, 1983 as Loyalty Day and Golden Jubilee Day. <br /> <br /> d. Proclaim April 24-30, 1983 as Visiting Nurse Association, Inc., Serving Alameda <br /> County Week. <br /> <br /> e. Proclaim May 15-22, 1983 as National Insurance Women's Week. <br /> <br /> f. Proclaim May 5, 1983 as Bike to Work Day. <br /> <br /> g. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-147, approving plans and agreement for a 12-1nch <br /> water line within West Las Positas Boulevard at the 1-680 Overcrossing, and <br /> authorizing the appropriate city officials to execute the agreement. <br /> <br /> h. Adoption of Resolution No. 84-148, approving plans and specifications for Project <br /> No. 83-6, Sod Bank, and authorizing the calling for bids for said project. <br /> <br /> i. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-149, approving agreement with Mark Thomas and Com- <br />.... pany, Inc., for assessment engineering work for Assessment District 1982-6, fire <br /> station and fire training tower, and authorizing the appropriate city officials <br /> to execute the agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
