MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 12, 1983 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br />8:00 P.M., and then lead the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Councilmember <br />Brandes was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. <br />Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of <br />Planning and Community Development, were present. <br /> <br /> Mayor Butler advised that Councilmember Brandes was absent from the meeting <br />because of the death of a close friend. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mayor Butler requested that item 5a - Reorganization of the City Council, be <br />continued to the meeting of April 26, 1983, for full Council attendance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 4k - Approval of Plans and Specifications for <br />Project 83-2, Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park, Phase IV, Authorization to <br />Call for Bids, and Approval of Zone 7 Agreement, be removed from the Consent Cal- <br />endar and moved on the agenda to item 12e, to allow discussion on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br />of this meeting to discuss pending litigation. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 3-22-83. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim May 8, 1983, as Museum Sunday. <br /> <br />c. Proclaim April 17-23, 1983, as Victims Rights Week. <br /> <br />d. Proclaim April 1983 as Fair Housing Month. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1079, approving the application of L & T Black for PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development) development plan approval in order to subdivide a five <br /> acre parcel into two lots, 1.2 and 3.8 acres in size, at 2373 Martin Avenue. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1080, approving the application 6f the City of Pleasanton <br /> to prezone an approximately eight acre site, located at the southeast corner of the <br /> intersection of Amber Lane and Mockingbird Lane, to PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br /> Low Density Residential District with a minimum 30,000 sq. ft. lot size and a <br /> maximum of nine (9) lots. <br /> <br /> <br />
