, ,353 <br /> <br /> MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br /> <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> March 22, 1983 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER ' <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 8:00 P.M., and then lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Acting Deputy City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll which is recorded as <br />follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were <br />present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr.I MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 13b - Reconsideration of Resolution of <br />Necessity for Johnson-Owens, East Side of Hopyard Road, be continued to the <br />meeting of April 12, 1983. Mr. MacDonald indicated staff would proceed to <br />file a lawsuit as this must be done within six months of passage of the resolu- <br />tion of necessity and that time is due to expire shortly. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested item 4j - Extension of Development <br />Deferment Agreement for Robert E. Frank, be taken off the Consent Calendar <br />and considered later in the agenda and it was moved to item 13b. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br />of this meeting to discuss pending litigation. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 3/8/83. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim the week of April 17-23, 1983 as National Library Week. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1075, allowing rent increases after Condominium <br /> Conversion in specified circumstances. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1076, approving the application of Ralph Martin <br /> et al. for development plan approval for the development of 39 parcels for <br /> single-family residential use on an approximately 42 acre parcel <br /> located on the north side of the eastern terminus of Crellin Road. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1977, approving the application of Mutual Land <br /> Company for development plan approval for the development of 28 parcels <br /> for single-family residential use on an approximately 48 acre parcel <br /> located on the south side of the eastern terminus of Crellin Road. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-100, designating Polling Places for the <br /> April 19, 1983 Special Election, and appointing Election Officers. <br /> <br /> <br />
