225 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> February 22, 1983 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler were present. Mr. <br />Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br />and Mrs. Wagner, Director of Finance, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 9c - Industrial Pretreatment Program Ordinance, <br />be continued to the meeting of March 8, 1983, at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 12d - Report on Pleasanton Housing Group, Inc., <br />Re: Affordable Housing Development, be continued to the meeting of March 22, 1983, <br />at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 12e - Further Discussion of Land Transfer to <br /> Zone 7 for Administrative Offices, be continued to the meeting of March 8, 1983, <br /> at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion <br /> of this meeting to discuss pending litigation. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 2-8-83. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim the Month of May 1983 as Deaf Awareness Month in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />c. Accept audit of financial transactions for Fiscal Year 1981-82; no Council action <br /> was required or taken on this item. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-56, appropriating the excess funds in fiscal year <br /> 1982 in the amou'nt of $997,600.60 to the Contingency Reserve fund to meet exist- <br /> ing contractual obligations. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-57, approving amendment to the 1978 agreement <br /> between Dublin San Ramon Services District and the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 83-58, approving cooperation agreement between the <br /> County of Alameda and the City of Pleasanton regarding issuance of Mortgage <br /> Revenue Bonds for single-family housing and authorizing the Mayor to execute <br /> for and on behalf of the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
