, I 449 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 11, 1983 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Robert Butler called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 7:30 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, and Mayor Butler were present. Councilmember <br /> Wood was absent due to illness. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City <br /> Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, <br /> Director of Planning and Community Development, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker suggested that items 13a and 9a be considered on the agenda after <br />[] item 6 rather than after item 7 as stated on the agenda. Council concurred with <br />~[ this change. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes advised he would be leaving the meeting at 9:15 P.M., due <br /> to a personal conflict. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclusion of <br /> this meeting to discuss personnel and pending litigation. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved. <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 12-13-82. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1063 approving the application of Richard Hempy for <br /> Planned Unit Development (PUD) development plan approval for a four lot resi- <br /> dential subdivision of approximately 4.35 acres of land located on the west side <br /> of Foothill Road adjacent on the south to 5050 Foothill Road. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1064 approving the application of Castlewood Properties, <br /> Inc., Everett and Dixie Kamp, Merle and Paul Kral, and Helen Crouch for rezoning <br /> to allow a phased mixed density residential project on approximately 58 acres of <br /> land located at the northeast corner of Oakland and Mohr Avenues. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1065 approving the application of the City of Pleasanton <br /> to rezone (Annexation No. 91) an approximately 35 acre site located immediately <br /> northwest of the intersection of Martin and Mohr Avenues to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Low Density Residential District. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1066 approving the application of the City of Pleasanton <br /> to prezone an approximately 78 acre site located at the northern terminus of Martin <br /> Avenue and just south and across the Arroyo Mocho Canal from the Pleasanton Mea- <br /> dows area to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential District. <br /> <br /> <br />
