MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUHCIL <br /> <br /> May 8, 1984 <br /> <br /> At 6:40 P.M., Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes interviewed the <br />following persons for consideration as tenant representatives on the Pleasanton <br />HousinE Authority Board: <br /> <br />Kottinger Place Representative <br /> Marion Lowe <br /> Melvin Mosier <br /> <br />Arroyo Vista Representative <br /> Patricia E. Ali <br /> Laurianne Behrens <br /> Debra J. Hunt <br /> RoxAnne Lawson <br /> Peggy Taylor <br /> Delcea Wills <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes were present. Councilmember Butler <br />and Mayor Mercer were absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, <br />Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Glenn, Assistant Planner, and <br />Mr. Stewart, Chief Building Inspector, were present. ~ <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 8a - Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend <br />the provisions of Ordinance No. 885, rezoning approximately 61 acres immediately north <br />of the Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park, to delete Section 4(1)(d) guaranteeing <br />"no street access from the development to Sutter Gate (Drive)", and consideration of <br />Negative Declaration, be continued to the City Council meeting of May 22, 1984, to allow <br />additional time to work out alternatives. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 8b - Application of Frank Auf der Maur for PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-development plan approval of an approximately 38 acre com- <br />mercial business park consisting of 32 commercial lots ranging in size from 0.5 to over <br />1.0 acre in size and related facilities to be located at the eastern terminus of the <br />De! Valle Parkway - southeast of the intersection of Washington Street and Stanley <br />Boulevard, and consideration of Mitigated Negative Declaration, be continued to the <br />City Council meeting of May 22, 1984, at the request of the applicant. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that two items be added to Reports of the City Manager, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />item 12e - Request of Amador Associates for Low Income Housing Exemption. <br /> <br />item 12f - Request for Growth Management Approval Time Extension, Cliff Preston, Tract 5283 (9 units, Mission and Dolores). <br /> <br /> <br />
