419 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING. <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> July 1, 1986 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meetin9 of the City Coun- <br />cil to order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br />lows: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, and Mayor Brandes were present. <br />Councilmember Wood was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. Beougher, Assis- <br />tant City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br />Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Hammon, Director of <br />Finance, Mrs. Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services, Mr. Eastman, <br />Chief of Police, and Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker stated there would be an item added to the agenda as item 5b <br />Falcon Development Company Project at the Eastern End of West Las Positas <br />Boulevard Rezoning. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclu- <br />sion of this meeting to discuss labor relations and personnel. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 6-17-86. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1258, approval of PUD-86-5, application of <br /> Callahan-Pentz Properties and Prudential Insurance Company of America to <br /> rezone an approximately 10.5 acre site from PUD {Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Office District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High <br /> Density Residential District, located generally in the area bounded by <br /> Owens Drive, West Las Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad <br /> right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, and Tassajara <br /> Creek. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1259, approval of PUD-86-6, application of the <br /> Prudential Insurance Company of America to fezone an approximately 14.6 <br /> acre site from PUD {Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/Commercial and <br /> Offices District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density <br /> Residential District, located generally in the area bounded by West Las <br /> Positas Boulevard, a portion of the former railroad right-of-way of the <br /> Southern Pacific Transportation Company, and the right-of-way of the <br /> Stoneridge Drive Extension. <br /> <br /> <br />
