Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br /> lows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer were <br /> present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Leach, <br /> Assistant Director of Public Works, and Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following item be removed from the agenda: <br /> <br />~' item 4j Approval of Plans and Specifications and Authorization to Call for <br />~_~ Bids for the First Street Underground District Off-street <br />~ Improvements. <br /> m Mr. Walker requested that the following items be added to the agenda: <br /> <br /> item 4u Resolution Requesting Continued Funding at Existing Levels for the <br /> Valley Mental Health Clinic. <br /> <br /> item 5d Deferred Construction of the BART Pleasanton-Dublin Park/Ride <br /> Project. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker stated that a request has been received from the applicant to <br /> continue the following item to August 18, 1987: <br /> <br /> item 9a AP-87-14, Appeal of a decision of the Planning Commission denying <br /> the application of Thomas Black for a major modification to an ap- <br /> proved development plan for a residential subdivision to modify the <br /> permitted building envelope for an existing parcel, located at 4 Red <br /> Feather Court. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Low Density Residential (Contd. Open from 7-21-87). <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker stated that a request has been received from the applicant to <br /> continue to the next general plan considerations the following two items: <br /> <br /> item 9f GP-87-6, Application of Prudential Insurance Company of America to <br /> amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan for an <br /> approximately 12.4 acre site from Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br /> to High Density Residential, located generally in the area bounded <br /> by West Las Positas Boulevard, Tassajara Creek, and the Arroyo Mocho <br /> Canal; and accompanying Negative Declaration. <br /> <br /> - 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
