2O9 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br />THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />July 7, 1987 <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at <br />7:45 p.m., to discuss labor relations and Lopez vs. City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br />lows: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer were present. <br />Councilmember Butler was absent due to military duty. Mr. Walker, City Man- <br />ager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities, Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development, and Ms. <br />Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 4t - Acquisition of Signs from Patrick Sign <br />Company near Stanley/Valley Intersection, be removed from the agenda at the <br />request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker stated the requests for continuance to August 4, 1987, had been <br />received from the applicants for the following items: <br /> <br />item 9a <br /> <br />PUD-87-12, Application of Gooch and Associates and Harry Caldwell <br />for development plan approval for a 13-unit residential project to <br />be located on an approximately 2 acre site, located at 3745 Vineyard <br />Avenue, and consideration of Negative Declaration; <br /> <br />item 9b <br /> <br />PUD-87-13, Application of Gooch and Associates and Sylvia Riccio for <br />development plan approval for a 25-unit residential project to be <br />located on an approximately 3.7 acre site, located at 3759 Vineyard <br />Avenue, and consideration of Negative Declaration; <br /> <br />item 9c <br /> <br />Appeal of a decision of the Planning Commission in denying PUD-82- <br />16-3M, application of the HSC Development and Ralph Romero for a <br />major modification to an approved development plan for a 47-unit <br />residential project to permit the further subdivision of a single <br />parcel into two lots to be located at the terminus of Grey Fox <br />Court. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker stated that it is necessary to add the following items to the <br />agenda: <br /> <br />item 12e - Consideration of approval oF Memorandum of Understanding with PCEA; <br /> <br /> <br />
