MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> APRIL 4, 1989 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the <br />City Council to order at 7:30 p.m., and then led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is <br />recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, <br />and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. <br />Roush, City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development, Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities, Mr. Bocian, Assistant City Manager, Ms. Bengtson, <br />Director of Parks and Community Services, Mr. Humolka, Manager of <br />NPID, and Mr. Van Gelder, Traffic Engineer, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following amendments be made to <br />the agenda: <br /> <br /> Move item 4f - Settlement in Amador Valley Savings and Loan <br />v. City of Pleasanton, to item 13b on the agenda. <br /> <br /> Move item 4s - Approval of Plans and Specifications and <br />Authorization to Call for Bids for Foothill Road Soundwall, to <br />item 12c on the agenda. <br /> <br /> Remove item 6d - Report on Traffic Surveillance Program. <br /> <br /> Remove item 6f - Review of Exterior House Colors for Lot 8, <br />Deer Oaks Drive. <br /> <br /> Continue item 9c - AP-89-2, Presley Homes, to the meeting of <br />April 18, 1989. <br /> <br /> Remove item 10c - Adoption of Ordinance No. 1410, Amending <br />Chapter 18.21 (Architectural Review Board) of the Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Councilmember Brandes was out of the <br />room when the vote was taken on the appointments to the Planning <br />Commission, Housing Authority Commission and Library Commission at <br />the meeting of March 21, 1989; he asked Councilmember Brandes if <br />he wanted to make the vote unanimous on these appointments. <br />Councilmember Brandes stated he ~id~no~ want to change his vote <br /> on these appointments. <br /> <br /> - 1 - 4/04/8 0s <br /> <br /> <br />
