MINITEES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 1, 1992 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />~. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. EZidro called the roll, which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmembers Robert E. Butler, Karin Mohr, Dorothy <br />N. Scribner, Ben Tarver, and Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer. Staff <br />members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. <br />Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; and Joseph Elliott, Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities. <br /> <br /> ~.MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> There were no comments. <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Item 4a <br />PUD-92-1, Walnut Glen Estates/Brad Hirst and JaJ~es Tonq (SR 92:140) <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Brad Hirst, 6280 W. Las Positas, asked for approval of this <br />item. He pointed out that the Planning Commission voted <br />unanimously in favor of the application. He indicated there were <br />basically three items to be decided by the Council: (1) the <br />sidewalk location, if any; (2) gravel shoulder with drainage swale; <br />(3) whether to have a 20 or 28 foot street at the north end of the <br />project adjoining the Hulett, Singleton and Gonsalves properties. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked if Mr. Hirst was in support of the neighbors' <br />modifications with respect to that street and the street going into <br />the Chu property. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hirst indicated he was so long as Mr. Hulett agreed. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr then asked who would pay for the 8 feet dedicated to <br /> the property owners. <br /> <br /> 04/01/92 Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
