Tarver called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:01 <br />p.m. <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Rebecca L. Dennis, Karin Mohr, Thomas P. Pico Jr., Dorothy N. Scribner <br />and Mayor Ben C. Tarvet. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; and Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner. <br /> <br />3. iVI~gI'ING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Jack Hovingh, 4250 Muirwood Drive, and Robert Cordtz, 262 West Angela, urged <br />Council to take extreme care in appointing the General Plan Steering Committee to avoid <br />accusations of political favor. <br /> <br />4. COMMENDATIONS <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Dennis to commend the Amador Valley <br />High School Basketball Team for its outstanding poffonnanc~ this season and to commend Bud <br />Garrigan on his retirement from the Alameda County Sheriff s Department thanking him for his <br />contributions to the Department and to the City of Pleasanton for past membership on the <br />Planning Commission and Park and Recreation Commission. <br />The vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mob_r, Pieo, Seribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 3/30/93 <br /> Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
