MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> May 4, 1999 <br /> <br />6:30 p.m. Closed Session <br /> <br /> Conferred with legal counsel regarding claim of john Roeha. <br /> <br /> Conferred with legal counsel regarding pending litigation (City of Pleasanton v. County of <br />Alamech.) (Altamont Landfill Expansion) <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Mayor Ben <br />Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall Lure, <br />Public Works Director; James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community Services and Gerard <br />Grassi, Associate Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said Item 6e, Passport Homes, has been continued to the May 18 City Council <br />meeting at the applicant' s request. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico said after reading his sample ballot, he had a concern that the Impartial Analysis <br />for Measure P did not reference the long term financial impacts of the project. Therefore he asked <br />if the Council would consider placing this issue on tonight's agenda as an urgency item. He would <br />like to know how Council feels about the long term financial impacts of the project and what action <br />the City Attorney recommends in order to notify the electorate of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 05/04/99 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
