MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 2, 1996 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She then indicated she had <br />taken part in some of the interviews for the Youth Commission and expressed her appreciation <br />for the free examples of young people. She felt the future of our country is in good hands. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Karin Mohr, Thomas P. Pie, o, <br />Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Steven Bocian, Assistant City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lure, Director of Public Works; <br />and Chris Sherwood, Management Analyst. <br /> <br />3, AOENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 6a, PUD-81-30-32M/PUD-85-8-13M, Prudential Insurance Company, has been <br /> <br /> Item 6g, PUD-96-01, City of Pleasanton, has been continued to 4/16/96. <br /> <br /> PRESENTATION <br /> <br /> Fire Chief George Withers described the City's new pammedic program and introduced <br />the eleven new paramedic employees. <br /> <br />04/02/96 -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
