PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2762 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-86-2, <br />REID/MYERS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br />WHEREAS, Lee Reid and Myers Development Corporation have applied <br />for design review approval for rezoning from CS <br />(Commercial Service) District to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial District and development plan <br />approval for an 800 unit, two-structure, three-story <br />mini-storage facility on an approximately 1.3 acre site <br />located at 3722 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 19, <br />1986 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, at this same duly noticed public hearing the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the negative <br />declaration prepared for this proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission concurred with the staff <br />recommendation that rezoning would be appropriate for <br />the site. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds the proposed Planned Unit <br />Development-Commercial Service zoning to be consistent <br />with the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-86-2 application of <br />Lee Reid and Myers Development Corporation for rezoning <br />from CS (Commercial Service) District to PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) - Commercial District and development <br />plan approval for an 800 unit, two-structure, <br />three-story mini-storage facility on an approximately <br />1.3 acre site located at 3722 Old Santa Rita Road <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />That the development plan shall substantially <br />conform to the plans, Exhibit A, on file with the <br />Planning Department. <br />That the proposed perimeter <br />to a "Tomax" design with a <br />and that the wall panels be <br />block wall be revised <br />top row of cap blocks <br />alternated between the <br />- 1 - <br />
