He wished the minutes to show him <br />going on record as abstaining from voting <br />due to not having the benefit of legal <br />counsel at the time of the public hearing. <br />ZONE AMENDMENT <br />RZ-69-13, <br />Res. No. 977, <br />Approved. <br />This change being noted, upon motion of <br />Commissioner Gibbs, seconded by Commissioner <br />Pereira, and carried, the minutes of the <br />meeting of November 5 were approved as <br />submitted, and the minutes of the meeting <br />of December 10 were approved as modified. <br />Mackay Homes, Inc. - application to rezone Resolution: <br />from the A District to the C-N District, Seconded: <br />that property described as a Neighborhood Ayes: <br />Commercial Center within the Mackay Homes Noes: <br />development; said application continued from Absent: <br />December 10, 1969. Abstain: <br />The Planning Director demonstrated overlay <br />drawings showing the radius of the popula- <br />tion which each C-N District within the <br />City of Pleasanton would serve. The subject <br />of shopping centers for the Pleasanton area <br />was discussed thoroughly, in addition to <br />this particular application. <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield, representing the appli- <br />cant, spoke in favor of the rezoning. <br />This center has a gross acreage of 8.1, with <br />a net of 6.8, as compared with Amador Center <br />which has a net of 7.9 acres. <br />x <br />x <br />- 1 - <br />
