CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte ; February 9, 1971 <br />Time : 8:25 PM <br />PIOCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Commissioners Hirst, <br />Pons, Wood and Chairman Carrigan. <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Pereira. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was then recited <br />by all present. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES Upon motion of Commissioner Pons, seconded <br /> by Coa¢nissioner Hirst, and carried, the <br /> minutes of the meetings of January 12 and <br /> 26, 1971, were approved as submitted. <br />GENERAL PLAN Vintage Hills Study - application of the Resolution: <br />AMENDMENT Planning Commission to review and/or amend Seconded: <br />GP-70-5, Approved, the General Plan for that area generally Ayes: <br />Res. 1063 encompassing the following two areas: Noes: <br /> 1 - The Vintage Hills shopping center site Absent: <br /> fronting Pico Avenue containing 14.4 ac., Abstain: <br /> more or less, described as Lot 26, Tr. 2802. <br /> 2 - The Commercial Freeway District fronting <br /> Vineyard Avenue containing 5 ac., more or le s <br /> described as Lots 563 and 564, Tr. 2980. <br /> Said General Plan review is to reevaluate <br /> the existing zoning that is now applicable <br /> to those properties within the City Limits, <br /> as well as to reevaluate the land use <br /> recommendations offered by the General Plan. <br />A synopsis of this item was given by Acting <br />Secretary Aiello. <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield, representing the interes <br />of Land Development and Investment Co., <br />spoke next. <br />He explained that H. C. Elliott, Inc., now <br />has a n option to purchase the property. <br />It would be H. C.
