' <br />i <br />Mr. Jim Trimingham requested permission to <br />speak before the Commission. He indicated 'i <br />that he had attended a meeting of the Board <br />of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce. <br />The Board members indicated that they have <br />been interested in the development of the <br />Central Business District fora long time, <br />and particularly, the scheduled item on that <br />evenings agenda pertaining to an ordinance <br />on off-street parking requirements. <br />Mr. Trimingham spoke on behalf of the Board <br />members and assured the Commission that they <br />intend to lend full support to the develop- <br />ment of a workable revitalization program <br />for the core area, of which obtaining suffi- <br />cient parking is a vital part. <br />A Mr. James Perry, 4622 First Street, spoke <br />regarding the Geremia Pools storage yard at <br />10 West Angela Street. This facility is <br />located across the streetfrom his residence. <br />It was deemed by the Planning Commission <br />several months earlier that the use of this <br />facility as a storage yard was an illegal, <br />nonconforming use and Mr. Geremia was instru' <br />to vacate the premises.
