This correction noted,
the minutes for the March 8, 1978, meeting were approved as corrected.
REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA
In keeping with the request expressed by Mission Park Homeowners Association
President, Bob Grove, Secretary Harris requested that review of the Mission
Park rezoning study be added as Item 7a.
PUBLIC HEARINGS - NEW BUSINESS
UP-78-6, Wickland Oil Company
Review of a negative declaration for a self-serve service station on the
northwest corner of Hopyard Road and Johnson Industrial Drive.
Application for a conditional use permit to allow the operation of a self-
serve service station on the northwest corner of Hopyard Road and Johnson
Industrial Drive; zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) Dis-
trict.
AND
Z-78-42, Wickland Oil Company
Application for design review to construct the service station described
in the foregoing.
In conjunction with the design review for this project, staff indicated they
did not approve of the design as presented. Main areas of objections were
access from Hopyard Road shown on the plans presented, the modernistic look
of the station and fear of increased truck traffic due to the diesel pump.
From the standpoint of the conditional use permit, staff did not feel they
could justify the necessary findings to grant the application.
