MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton Council Chambers 30 West Angela Street June 14, 1978 8:00 P.M. CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at 9:15 P.M., by Chairman Jamieson. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Doherty, Geppert, Getty, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson Commissioners Absent: None Staff Members Present: Robert Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development; Harvey Levine, City Attorney, Don Sooby, Director of Engineering Services; Yvonne McFadden, Recording Secy. Council Members Present: Walt Wood (substitute for regular Liaison Member Stan Kephart). APPROVAL OF MINUTES The two sets of minutes from the May 10, 1978 meeting were approved (election of officers and regular agenda meeting), as submitted. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA Secretary Harris requested the following changes: Withdraw - 6a, UP-78-13, Roy and Mary Diehl, at applicants' request. 7a, Goodwill Industries, at applicant's request. Continue - 5a, UP-77-14, Dept. of Motor Vehicles - to July 12, 1978 meeting. 5b, Z-78-62, UP-78-11, Tam Investment Co. - to July 12 meeting. 6b, UP-78-12, Ark Children's Services, Inc.,-to July 12 meeting. OLD BUSINESS RZ-78-1, Planning Commission - application for an amendment to Sec. 2-9.19(1) and 2-9.23, Article 16, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, to allow joint use of parking facilities when sharing uses are non-simultaneous. The staff report was described by Secretary Harris. The Public Hearing was closed.. Resolution 1647 was entered and adopted recommending to the City Council an ordinance amendment which would conditionally allow the joint use of parking facilities where the uses sharing those facilities occur non-simultaneously.
