MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />30 West Angela S treet <br />August 9, 1978 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />was called to order at 8:07 P.M. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Commissioners Absent: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Council Members Present: <br />Leppert, Wilson, Acting Chairman Doherty <br />Getty, Chairman Jamieson <br />Robert Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Alan Campbell, Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities; Ruth Jensen, <br />Recording Secretary Pro Tem <br />Stan Kephart, Liaison <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of July 12, 1978, were approved <br />as submitted. <br />The minutes of the Board of Adjustment meeting of July 12, 1978, were approved <br />as submitted. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Secretary Harris requested the following modifications to the agenda: <br />Continue - Item 5b. RZ-77-19, City Council (uses in the C-C District) <br />to September 13, 1978. <br />Continue - Item 6a. RZ-78-7, City Council (rezoning three parcels of land <br />in Mission Park area) - to September 13, 1978 <br />Continue - Item 6a. Z-78-97, Kismet Construction, Inc. (design review <br />renewal of proposed apartment complex at Sonoma Drive and San <br />Carlos Way) - to September 13, 1978 at request of the applicant. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />MS-78-10, Harry Hempy - application for approval of a parcel map to recon- <br />stitute property lines for land on the west side of Foothill Road near its <br />intersection with Highland Oaks Drive. <br />Chairman Doherty stated that the staff asks that this matter be withdrawn <br />if there are no objections. There being none, it was so ordered. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS - NEW BUSINESS <br />UP-78-15, Norman Zimmerman for Carden-West Elementary School <br />Application for a conditional use permit to allow the establishment and <br />operation of a school in the Christian Education Building of St. Clare's <br />Episcopal Church which is currently under construction at 3350 Hopyard Road. <br />Zoning for the property is RM-2500 District. <br /> <br />
