MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton Council Chambers 30 West Angela Street November 8, 1978 8:00 P.M. CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton was called to order at 8:00 P.M. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Commissioners Absent: Staff Members Present: Council Members Present: Ken Leppert, Joyce Getty, DeWitt Wilson and Acting Chairman Gregg Doherty Bill Jamieson, Chairman Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development; Alan Campbell, Director of Public Works and Utilities; Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary Frank Brandes APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment meetings of October 11, 1978 were approved as submitted. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA Z-78138, application of Van Bokkelen-Cole for design review approval will be heard with UP-78-26, their application for a use permit. Mr. William Kovac, 3124 Weymouth Court, stated from the audience he would like the Public Hearing on design review removed because it was not publicly advertised. Mr. Harris stated that no public advertising is required for design review. Mr. Kovac's suggestion then died. OLD BUSINESS There was none. PUBLIC HEARINGS - NEW BUSINESS UP-78-25, Amador-Livermore Regional Occupational Program Application for a conditional use permit to operate a classroom for training wastewater plant operators in a trailer to be located on the DSRSD sewage treatment plant site at 6950 Stoneridge Drive. Zoning for this property is P (Public and Institutional) District. Mr. Harris reviewed the staff report recommending approval of the use permit. The Public Hearing was opened. The Public Hearing was closed. The Planning Commission made the findings required for the approval of case UP-78-25.
