MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />30 West Angela Street <br />November 8, 1978 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />was called to order at 8:00 P.M. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Commissioners Absent: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Council Members Present: <br />Ken Leppert, Joyce Getty, DeWitt Wilson <br />and Acting Chairman Gregg Doherty <br />Bill Jamieson, Chairman <br />Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Alan Campbell, Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities; Shirley <br />McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Frank Brandes <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment meetings of <br />October 11, 1978 were approved as submitted. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Z-78138, application of Van Bokkelen-Cole for design review approval will <br />be heard with UP-78-26, their application for a use permit. <br />Mr. William Kovac, 3124 Weymouth Court, stated from the audience he <br />would like the Public Hearing on design review removed because it was <br />not publicly advertised. <br />Mr. Harris stated that no public advertising is required for design <br />review. Mr. Kovac's suggestion then died. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />There was none. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS - NEW BUSINESS <br />UP-78-25, Amador-Livermore Regional Occupational Program <br />Application for a conditional use permit to operate a classroom for training <br />wastewater plant operators in a trailer to be located on the DSRSD sewage <br />treatment plant site at 6950 Stoneridge Drive. Zoning for this property <br />is P (Public and Institutional) District. <br />Mr. Harris reviewed the staff report recommending approval of the use <br />permit. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />The Planning Commission made the findings required for the approval <br />of case UP-78-25. <br />
