Page 2 <br />Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />3/28/84 <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Doherty indicated he plans to prepare memoranda concerning the <br />recent League of California Cities seminar which he recently attended. He <br />also stated that on May 9, 984 he would be in Mexico and not at the Planning <br />Commission meeting. <br />Commissioner Wilson indicated he will be in Mexico May 21, 1984. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />GP-84-2, Brentwood Holding <br />Application of Brentwood Ho ding Company to amend the general plan land use <br />designation of an approxi ely 2.7 acre site located on the east side of <br />Monaco Drive near its inter ection with Mission Drive and immediately north <br />of the commercial complex 1 Gated at 44 through 90 Mission Drive from "Commercial <br />and Offices" to "High Densi y Residential." The subject property is currently <br />zoned PUD (Planned Unit Dev lopment)-Commercial and Offices District. The <br />Planning Commission may rec mmend any action on this matter deemed in the <br />public interest. A negativ declaration of environmental impacts will also <br />be considered. <br />This matter was continued indefinitely. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Heari <br />MS-84-6, Leonard Black <br />Application of Leonard Blac to subdivide approximately 5 acres into two <br />lots, approximately 3.8 and 1.2 acres in size at 2373 Martin Avenue. Zoning <br />for the property is PUD (P1 nned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential <br />District. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Martin Inderbitzen, 62 W. N al Street, represented Mr. Black. He indicated <br />that one of the conditions f PUD approval was that the subdivision go before <br />Planning Commission and Cit Council. They concur with the staff report. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked 'f the applicant would be allowed to sell parcel <br />A but that B could not be eveloped until a sewer line was in. Mr. Inderbitzen <br />stated that this is correc . <br />The public hearing was clo~ed. <br />A motion was made by Commi sinner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Wilson <br />that MS-84-6 be approved s bject to the conditions shown in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners D herty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Ge ty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2441 was en~ered and adopted approving case MS-84-6 as motioned. <br />-2- <br />_. _ T <br />
