At the
meeting of April 3, the Council approved the allocation of CDBG funding for FY 2007.
This report summarizes the Annual Action Plan that must be submitted to HUD in order
for the City to receive its FY 2007 allocation of CDBG funds. The report makes a
recommendation to approve the Action Plan.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2007 (2007-08) and direct staff to
submit to HUD by the applicable deadlines.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
The approval of the annual Action Plan will not have a direct fiscal impact on the City.
As noted earlier, the City will receive $285,394 in CDBG funds for FY 2007 (2007/08).
The majority of these funds (80%, or $228,315) will be allocated to agencies that
provide programs and services for low-income Pleasanton residents.
