THE CITY OF <br />- - -~- ~' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />j~L~E~S~4NTONo <br />March 20, 2007 <br />Public Works Department <br />TITLE: PUBLIC HEARING AND RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INITIAL STUDY <br />AND PROPOSED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PIMLICO DRIVE <br />TURNOUT AND WATERLINE PROJECT, CIP NO. 011012 <br />SUMMARY <br />The Pimlico Drive Turnout Project provides for an additional water service point from the <br />Zone 7 Water Agency and includes appurtenant water transmission lines, water fittings <br />and equipment and masonry building. Under the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) the City of Pleasanton, as lead agency for the project, is required to perform an <br />environmental impact evaluation of the project and adopt findings. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Find that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and adopt <br />the attached resolution approving the Initial Study and Negative Declaration for the <br />Pimlico Drive and Turnout Project (CIP NO. 011012). <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Determination within five days of <br />approval by the City Council with the Alameda County Clerk pursuant to CEQA <br />guidelines. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no direct financial impact to the City as a result of approval of the Initial Study <br />and Negative Declaration by Council other than the required regulatory agency filing <br />fees of $1,825 which will be charged to the Pimlico Drive and Turnout Project, CIP No. <br />011012. <br />
