PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-89-8 <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING AN EIR PREPARED FOR <br />CASE PUD-87-19, EQUUS HEIGHTS <br />WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. William Yee have applied to rezone an <br />irregularly-shaped 50.36 acre site located on the west <br />side of Foothill Road directly across from Foothill High <br />School from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) - Low and Rural Density <br />Residential District and to approve a development plan <br />consisting of 23 detached, single-family units; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />provided proper public notice of completion of the Draft <br />Environmental Impact Report for the proposed rezoning <br />and development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has accepted and responded to <br />comments to the Draft Environmental Impact Report from <br />public agencies having jurisdiction by law, persons <br />having special expertise with respect to any <br />environmental impact involved, and other persons or <br />organizations having an interest in the proposed <br />rezoning and development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been prepared <br />and contains the Draft Environmental Impact Report, <br />comments and recommendations received on the Draft <br />Environmental Impact Report, and the responses of the <br />City of Pleasanton to significant environmental points <br />raised in the review and consultation process; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton provided proper public notice of <br />completion of the Final Environmental Impact Report for <br />the proposed rezoning and development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met_on February 8, 1989 and held <br />a public hearing upon the completeness and adequacy of <br />the Final Environmental Impact Report in disclosing <br />relevant environmental issues involved in the event the <br />proposed project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Planning Commission finds, after having reviewed and <br />considered the material in the Environmental Impact <br />Report, that the Environmental Impact Report prepared is <br />complete, sufficient, and acceptable for the project <br />proposed. <br />
