CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 94-13 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING THE ROLES AND <br /> RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CITY'S AFFORDABLE <br /> HOUSING TASK FORCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in hne 1989, the City Council approved the formation of an Affordable Housing <br /> Task Force for the purpose of developing a report outlining recommendations to <br /> increase the availability of affordable housing within the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in December 1989 the City Council accepted the report and recommendations of <br /> the Affordable Housing Task Force and indicated that the Affordable Housing <br /> Task Force shall remain in place to work on development of a specific affordable <br /> housing project and to assist with the revision of the housing element of the City's <br /> general plan; and <br /> <br />WI-IF~REAS, the role of the Affordable Housing Task Force was amended in April 1990 to <br /> develop the parameters of a specific affordable housing project within the City of <br /> Pleasanton; to make recommendations which include a preferred site, mix of <br /> income levels, type and density of the project, number of units, ownership and/or <br /> rental tenure of the units, preliminary architectural design and a proposed <br /> financing package including the extent of the City' s participation in the financing <br /> of the project; and in formulating its recommendations, to consider all types of <br /> projects, income levels, designs and financing options for a project on a specific <br /> parcel of land; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since April 1990 the Task Force has met periodically for the purpose of following <br /> through on the role as specified above. <br /> <br />NOW, TIqF~RF-FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />S~;tion' 1: The City Council does hereby reaffirm that the Affordable Housing Task Force <br /> shall continue to operate within the guidelines of this resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />
