CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 94-12 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A VETERANS' <br /> MEMORIAL BUILDING ADVISORY COMMISSION IN <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Alameda and the City of Pleasanton entered into an <br /> agreement on April 3, 1973, regarding the Veterans' Memorial Building; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by that agreement the City was appointed as the County' s agent to manage <br /> and operate the Veterans' Memorial Building at 301 Main Street, City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City, in becoming the County's agent, agreed to establish a Veterans' <br /> Memorial Building Advisory Commission. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />~: rCIl_a_6_~- The Veteran's Memorial Building Advisory Commission is <br /> hereby created. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Membershin. The Commission shall have five (5) members. Four (4) of <br /> "' the members shall be representatives of the following Veterans' <br /> Association: <br /> <br /> 1. Veterans of Foreign War Post 6298 <br /> <br /> 2. Veterans of Foreign War Post 9968 <br /> <br /> 3. Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary Post 6298 <br /> <br /> 4. American Legion Post 237 <br /> <br /> The fifth member shall be the Director of Parks and Community Services <br /> of the City of Pleasanton or a designee of the Director of Parks and <br /> Community Services. The Director shall serve as the Secretary of the <br /> Commission. The City Manager of the City of Pleasanton shall serve as an <br /> ex officio member of the Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
