CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-24 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TRI-VALLEY <br />TRANSPORTATION PLAN/ACTION PLAN FOR <br />ROUTES OF REGIONAL SIGNIFICANCE <br />WHEREAS, the seven Tri-Valley jurisdictions in 1991 formed the Tri-Valley <br />Transportation Council (TVTC) with the charge to bring forth aTri-Valley <br />Transportation Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the solution to providing reasonable transportation services in the Tri-Valley <br />will require the combined efforts of all of its member jurisdictions and other <br />transportation agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, the member jurisdictions working diligently have developed aTri-Valley <br />Transportation Traffic Model and subsequently produced the Tri-Valley <br />Transportation Plan/Action Plan for Routes of Regional Significance; and <br />WHEREAS, there were opportunities throughout the development of the plan for public <br />input, the Draft Plan was circulated and there was opportunity for public <br />testimony at all Tri-Valley Transportation Council meetings; and <br />WHEREAS, each jurisdiction has previously reviewed and commented upon the <br />Circulation Draft and now the Proposed Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the successfuul implementation of the plan is partially contingent upon the <br />adequate funding of transportation facilities which may require a Regional <br />Traffic Development Fee; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: The City of Pleasanton at its February 21, 1995 meeting recommends <br />adoption of this Plan by the Tri-Valley Transportation Council and member <br />jurisdictions and adopts this Plan as a Guide to be used when adopting or <br />amending elements of its General Plan and specific plans, zoning ordinances <br />or capital improvement programs. <br />
