CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1819 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 2.28 (HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION), 2.32 (PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION), 2.34 (PLEASANTON LIBRARY COMMISSION), 2.38 (HOUSING COMMISSION), 2.39 (CMC ARTS COMMISSION), 18.16 (PLANNING COMMISSION) AND ESTABLISHING A NEW CHAPTER 2.29 (YOUTH COMMISSION) OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO ASSURE CITY COMMISSIONS ARE CONSISTENT WITH EXISTING CITY POLICIES AND RESOLUTIONS WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton maintains a number of Commis~, incorporating resident participation regarding matters and WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Cod pertaining to City Commissions to assure that City pol~ practices is consistent for all Commissions; and WHEREAS, this consistency will assure that the community and all informed regarding the practices and policies related tc THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES E FOLLOWS: Section 1: ions for the purpose of ffecting the community; for those Chapters cy related to Commission Commissioners are well City Commissions. EREBY ORDAIN AS / Chapters 2.28 (Human Services Commission), 2.32 (parks ~nd Recreation Commission), 2.34 (Pleasanton Library Commission), 2.38 (Housing Con/mission), 2.39 (Civic Arts Commission), and 18.16 (Planning Commission) of the Ple~anton Municipal Code are amended to read as set forth in Exhibit 1, attached hereto agd incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2: Section 3: The Pleasanton Municipal Code is amended to add Chapte~ 2.29 Youth Commission, as set forth in Exhibit 2, attached hereto and incorporated here/n by this reference. The Pleasanton Municipal Code is amended to move Chapt x 18.16 (Planning Commission), as amended, to Chapter 2.30.
