Ordinance No. 1819 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br />If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any <br />reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent <br />jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this <br />ordinance. The City Council declares that it would have adopted each section, <br />subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the fact that any one <br />or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases or portions be declared invalid <br />or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />Section 5: <br /> <br />A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br />its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published <br />in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen <br />(15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 6: <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage <br />and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br />December 5, 2000. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on January 9, 2001 <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />TOM PICO, MAYOR <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM_: <br /> <br />Michael H.
