<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-91-15 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR CASE <br />PUD-90-18, SHAPELL INDUSTRIES OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Shapell Industries of Northern California has applied for <br />approval for rezoning to PUD (Planned Unit Developmentl - <br />MDR (Medium Density Residentiall, LDR (Low Density <br />Residential) and RDR (Rural Density Residentiall, for PUD <br />Development Plan approval, and for Land Conservation <br />Contract (Williamson Actl cancellation to allow <br />construction of 115 single-family units on an <br />approximately 104 acre site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is A (Agriculturel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />provided proper public notice of completion of the Draft <br />Environmental Impact Report for the proposed rezoning <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Pleasanton has accepted and responded to <br />comments to the Draft Environmental Impact Report from <br />public agencies having jurisdiction by law, persons <br />having special expertise with respect to any <br />environmental impact involved, and other persons or <br />organizations having an interest in the proposed <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been prepared <br />and contains the Draft Environmental Impact Report, <br />comments and recommendations received on the Draft <br />Environmental Impact Report, and the responses of the <br />City of Pleasanton to significant environmental points <br />raised in the review and consultation process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton provided proper public notice of <br />completion of the Final Environmental Impact Report for <br />the proposed development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission met on March 13, 1991, and held <br />a public hearing upon the completeness and adequacy of <br />the Final Environmental Impact Report in disclosing <br />relevant environmental issues involved in the proposed <br />project. <br />
